It’s been far from an ideal start to the season for Cam Talbot.
The Edmonton Oilers’ netminder went 0-5 in the month of November and had not won a game in six straight starts coming into Wednesday night’s game against the St. Louis Blues.
But that’s all in the past now and shall never be spoken of again because Talbot is now 1-0 in the month of December after stopping 28 of 30 shots and keeping the Oilers in a tight 3-2 shootout win over the Blues.
