With Christmas over for another year, collectors will again take to the streets to pick up natural Christmas trees for compost, but not necessarily on scheduled waste collection days.
The city is asking residents in all single-family homes to have their trees out for collection by 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9; the trees will be collected before the end of January.
