Numerous crashes on Edmonton streets after Wednesday snowfall

Edmonton police responded to at least 155 crashes on snow-covered roads Wednesday.
During the morning commuting hours police responded to 71 traffic collisions. Seven of the collisions recorded between 6 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. resulted in injuries, police spokesman Scott Pattison said in an email Wednesday. Three of the injuries were hit and run collisions and 61 others involved property damage.
