Notley looking ahead to NDP convention

Alberta’s governing New Democrat Party will meet this weekend in Edmonton to begin the work of ironing out its platform.
But, this is more than just an annual general meeting for New Democrats, it’s an unofficial campaign kick-off for the 2019 provincial election expected to be called in the spring by Premier Rachel Notley.
Party delegates are expected to debate hot-topic issues such as health care, education, economic diversification and jobs.
