New UCP leader Kenney aiming at immediate byelection in Calgary

Newly minted United Conservative Party Leader Jason Kenney is hoping to grab a seat in the Alberta legislature as soon as possible, and he already has one picked out.
Kenney announced Sunday that Calgary-Lougheed MLA Dave Rodney is stepping down, setting up a byelection in the coming weeks or months. Rodney was a Kenney supporter during the UCP leadership race that ended Saturday night.
