New mixed-use residential tower looking to make a 'Wedge' on Jasper Avenue

A proposed 11-storey mixed-use development hopes to pop on a busy Jasper Avenue — sandwiched between two historic buildings with only a narrow seven and a half metres of width to work with.
Named The Wedge in response to how it will sit on the busy downtown street, the skinny tower will stand about 38 metres tall and offer up to four units of retail space on the main floor and basement, with 34 residential units above.
