New Edmonton police grad class includes officers from Poland, Somalia, Zimbabwe

Edmonton police graduated 29 new recruits hailing from a half-dozen countries in a ceremony at city hall Friday.
Members of Recruit Training Class 142 officially became police officers during the afternoon graduation.
A police news release said it is a diverse group, including recruits from Canada as well as China, Italy, Poland, Romania, Somalia and the United States.
One of the new officers, 33-year-old Const. Kyle Pepper, comes from Zimbabwe.
