NDP plans big shakeup of Alberta's workers' compensation system

After spending the past week sounding like a Conservative premier promoting pipelines, the familiar social-justice NDP Premier Rachel Notley will be back in the legislature Monday.
Her government will make a point of looking very much like what an NDP government is supposed to look like.
They won’t be hugging trees or dancing around the maypole. But they will be introducing major changes to the workers’ compensation system.
