National Sixties Scoop exhibit makes first stop in Alberta, set to visit nine communities
A national exhibit sharing the traumatic stories of Sixties Scoop survivors across the country is making its first stop in Alberta, set to travel to eight communities before returning to Edmonton in May.
The Bi-Giwen: Coming Home — Truth Telling from the Sixties Scoop exhibit highlights personal stories of 12 survivors, each from a different province or territory.
The exhibit that took a year to create will tour across Alberta through a partnership with the Sixties Scoop Indigenous Society
