Mother killed in single vehicle crash in Sturgeon County

One person was killed and another suffered critical injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Sturgeon County Sunday afternoon.
Morinville RCMP responded to the crash on Range Road 245 near Township Road 561 at about 12:15 p.m. Sunday, police said in a news release.
An SUV with four occupants, including a mother and child, was travelling on Range Road 245 when it lost control and rolled into the ditch.
The boy’s mother was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
