Mentorship program 'just exploded my interest for science'

Ardrossan Junior Senior High School’s six science labs might seem a smidgen underwhelming as teenage physicist hopeful Hannah Bayne heads back to school this fall.
After spending her summer designing and testing heat shields for lithium-ion batteries in a federal government lab, 17-year-old Hannah is anxious to finish her Grade 12 year and plunge into research.
“This summer really taught me, this is what I want to do,” she said. “It just exploded my interest for science.&
