Memorial game planned to honour dead 13-year-old cyclist while St. Albert council reviews safety issues

Teammates of Darian Mar will honour the teenager at a lacrosse game in Fort Saskatchewan on Saturday.
Darian, 13, died June 8 after he was hit by an Econoline van while riding a bicycle around 3 p.m. near Gresham Boulevard and Grenfell Avenue in St. Albert. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The memorial game is scheduled for 8 p.m. June 17 at the Jubilee Recreation Centre in Fort Saskatchewan between the St. Albert Sr. Miners and the Fort Saskatchewan Sr. Warriors, with 50-5
