Medieval weapons demonstrated in Edmonton at Medieval May festival

Time to get medieval on some watermelons.
The Knights of the Northern Realms hosted the 7th annual Medieval May, Saturday at the King Edward Community League. Complete with tournament combat for viewers to see and period dance lessons by performer Lady Jeanette,  the event showcases life in the 14th century.
Part of that history is weapons, and Squire Garrett of Sherwood Park was there with a handful to demonstrate their lethalness on watermelons and full milk jugs.
