'Mandatory dispute resolution': Court of Queen's Bench takes aim at civil trial delays

A proposal to introduce mandatory dispute resolution ahead of civil trials as a way to help clear a backlog in Alberta’s superior court would be a “small attempt to solve a much bigger problem,” a senior Edmonton civil litigator says.
