Man whose sex assault trial was stayed now wanted for assault in rural Ponoka

A man whose sexual assault trial was stayed following a Jordan decision is wanted on warrants for assaulting a woman in rural Ponoka.
Blair Hinkley, 44, has been evading Ponoka RCMP and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, according to a news release Friday.
Mounties said a woman was assaulted in a rural home in Ponoka County on Thursday and RCMP determined Hinkley is a suspect wanted in connection with the assault.
RCMP said if any member of the public sees Hinkley, he should not be a
