Man who admitted to negligence in baby's shaking death gets two years in jail

A young woman sobbed in an Edmonton courtroom Friday after learning the man who pleaded guilty to criminal negligence in her infant daughter’s death will serve just under two years additional jail time.
Brandon James Calahoo was sentenced Friday to two years less a day by Court of Queen’s Bench Justice June Ross. The 22-year-old was accused of shaking two-month-old Raelyn Supernant after her crying roused him from bed during the early morning hours of July 25, 2016.
