Man shot outside Edmonton convenience store as others flee

A gunman opened fire, hitting one man as others fled, at a strip mall in Edmonton’s Carlisle neighbourhood Sunday, Edmonton police said.
Officers were called to a 7-Eleven convenience store at 11868 145 Ave. at 4:40 p.m. Sunday.
Edmonton Police Services spokeswoman Noreen Remtulla said a man is in life-threatening condition after being shot.
