Man charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder after two stabbings Thursday

A 38-year-old man has been charged in two stabbings, one that resulted in the death of a woman last week.
At approximately 7:15 a.m. Thursday, police were called to the parking lot at the George Spady Centre, in the area of 100 Street and 105A Avenue to a report of a stabbing.
There, a 48-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds was lying on the ground. She was transported to hospital by EMS where she was pronounced dead.
