Major collision closes Gateway Boulevard and 63 Avenue

A motorist is in the hospital with “significant injuries” after a single-vehicle collision involving a light standard near Gateway Boulevard and 63 Avenue around 3:10 p.m. on Saturday.
Gateway Boulebard northbound and 63 Avenue westbound are closed until further notice.
The Edmonton Police Service major collision investigations unit continues to investigate the crash.
