LRT testing to shut down line Sunday morning

A city-wide LRT service shutdown on Sunday morning will be the first in a series of planned outages to test the signalling system installed by Thales Canada.
Service on both the Metro and Capital lines will be suspended from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Jan. 13 to accommodate the due diligence testing on the system. Edmontonians can expect to see trains running on the tracks during the outage, but they won’t be able to climb aboard.
