Live: Transit riders question new strategy for high-frequency network

Many disabled transit riders simply can’t manage a longer walk to the bus stop, said the first of 18 speakers registered to speak to Edmonton’s new transit strategy Wednesday.
The new strategy would reorganize the transit system, creating more direct routes for both community buses and main routes.
It would not cut back on service and is not about “the Uberization” of transit, said planning branch manager Peter Ohm, introducing the subject.
