How will the City of Edmonton succeed at getting the Metro Line LRT to run properly if high-tech signalling contractor Thales Canada can’t?
The contractor has until Dec. 4 to convince city officials the line is safe to run as intended — with just 2.5 minute headway in the downtown tunnel — or council says it will end the contract and modify its old technology to run the trains on time.
But no one has publicly said how that will be achie
