Liquor licences for special events made easier: Province
It will be easier to pick up a liquor licence for a special event thanks to changes announced by the province on Monday.
The overhaul streamlines the application process, and simplifies food and security requirements.
The arm’s-length agency has removed sub-categories that limited applicants from obtaining a licence to sell liquor to the public, but requires at least one ProServe-certified server per 100 patrons.
