Injury that caused Serenity's death 'not criminal' — RCMP

The RCMP have ruled that the death of four-year-old Serenity — a little girl who spent her final days in hospital on life support after suffering catastrophic head injuries — was “not criminal in nature.”
“After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the specific injury which caused Serenity’s death was not criminal in nature,” RCMP said in a news release issued late Friday evening.
