Indigenous relations a focus for child intervention panel
Alberta’s child intervention panel won’t meet again until September, but the secretariat has been tasked with a summer project.
Now well into its second phase of work, the panel will hash out the root causes of child intervention and recommend improvements to the system.
In the meantime, the secretariat will prepare research reports into current legislation, set up visits to First Nation communities and summarize the 174 public submissions made to the panel.
