Indigenous Knowledge and Wisdom Centre opens in Edmonton

For the first time, First Nations band-operated schools in Alberta will receive resources and support to help facilitate preservation and revitalization of Indigenous culture and language after the Indigenous Knowledge and Wisdom Centre opened in Edmonton on Friday.
“Today is a remarkable day for Indigenous people” said CEO Clayton Kootenay.
“Education is the silver bullet in the hunt for transformational change and the advancement of our nations. It is the secret we
