As director of economic development for the band 170 kilometres northeast of Edmonton, Lapatak is hoping for a second round of energy retrofitting funding once a $2.4-million overhaul to the band’s administration building and arena is completed this year. The first round of money came from Alberta’s Climate Leadership Plan, which was introduced in 2015 and receives the majority of its funds from th
