'I kept taking the bus': Edmonton man rides ETS about 90,000 times

Terry Seehagen is an oddity in Alberta’s car-centric capital — the only vehicles in his fleet are the Edmonton Transit buses he calculates he has ridden roughly 90,000 times.
Since he started buying monthly transit passes 44 years ago, Seehagen has averaged seven bus trips a day, including transfers, going to work, shopping or travelling to his home-away-from-home at the Edmonton Chess Club on 124 Street.
