How will Edmonton school trustee candidates vote on LGBTQ rights?

Voters across Edmonton will pick nine public school board trustees in Monday’s civic election. It’s a responsibility that includes overseeing a $1.2-billion budget, about 99,000 students and 212 schools.
The Journal asked all of the public school trustee candidates three questions after nomination day. Twenty-six of the 28 candidates responded to the survey by Oct. 12.
