Homicide unit investigating after man found dead outdoors in southwest Edmonton

A man’s body was found outdoors in southwest Edmonton at around 5 p.m. on Sunday and police are treating the death as suspicious.
The homicide unit has taken over the investigation after the Edmonton Police Service was called out to the area of 65 Avenue and 99 Street, said a news release.
A heavy police presence was visible along CP rail property and behind Alberta Plywood at 9923 65 Ave. on Sunday evening.
