Highway robbery: Man charged after attempting to steal snowplow

A 26-year-old man has been charged after attempting to steal a snowplow from a good samaritan along a highway north of Edmonton.
At around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, a man driving a snowplow on Highway 43, west of Valleyview, stopped to help a truck driver who had hit the ditch, said Valleyview RCMP on Wednesday.
One of the people in the truck then assaulted the snowplow driver and tried to steal the snowplow.
RCMP responded and the snowplow was not taken or damaged.
