Health Canada approves four Edmonton safe drug consumption sites

Health Canada has approved the four locations proposed for supervised drug consumption sites in Edmonton, Associate Health Minister Brandy Payne said at a news conference Wednesday at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
The sites will be located at the Boyle McCauley Health Centre, Boyle Community Services and the George Spady Centre, as well at the Royal Alex, the first hospital in Canada to have such a site.
