Griesbach Community League launches Competition Bureau campaign against Sobeys

Members of a northwest Edmonton community league are launching a Competition Bureau campaign against Sobeys Inc. continuing to own an undeveloped commercial lot that could stay empty for the next 15 years.
The grocery store chain purchased an undeveloped commercial lot on the corner of 137 Avenue and 97 Street in the community of Griesbach. However, the lot has been sitting empty since 2013.
There were plans to build a Sobeys in the spot however, after Sobeys Inc. purchased the Safeway
