Grande Cache economy continues upswing with renewed prison lease

In another boost for once-faltering Grande Cache, the Correctional Service of Canada says it has reached a 25-year lease agreement to run the local prison.
The town of 3,700 was hit hard when its largest employer, Grande Cache Coal, shut down in 2015, eliminating 400 jobs.
