Gerry Fleming's summer home will take Hurricane beating
PENTICTON – Edmonton Oilers farm coach Gerry Fleming has been watching CNN’s Hurricane Irma wall-to-wall TV coverage much more closely than others.
He lives in Estero, in between Fort Myers and Naples. That’s home of the 7,200-seat Germain Arena, where the Florida Everblades of the ECHL play, where scores of evacuees are huddled in the storm-shelter.
