Fringe'O'Saurus Rex roars into the future of storytelling in its 37th year

The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival opens in Old Strathcona in its 37th incarnation Thursday, swirling with handbills, filling the air with the smell of delicious food.
Taking a subtle jab at its growing vintage, Fringe‘O’Saurus Rex stomps and roars though Aug. 26. At close to 130,000 sold tickets over 10 days last year — never mind that massive footprint stretching downtown to the French Quarter — it’s easily the city’s largest festival.
