Two of the most famous female pirates are captured in Jamaica and tossed into a jail cell together. They’re both badass fighters, and get off to an aggressive start in their newly shared space, as they posture for power and plot their next moves.
Set in 1722, Heroine looks at the lives of Irish pirate Anne Bonny, and British soldier-turned pirate Mary Read, who grew up presenting as a boy for financial reasons
