Friday's letters: Roads bad despite city's promise

During my Wednesday morning commute I was disappointed, albeit not surprised, to see that Edmonton's roads were icy and snow-covered despite the city's promises to do better. Snow-clearing is not rocket science; many cities do it extremely effectively, including ones in regions that receive much more snow than Edmonton.
