Former AMA executive charged after $8-million fraud
City police have charged a former Alberta Motor Association executive with fraud after an investigation into more than $8 million in embezzled funds.
Officers were alerted to the case after employees reportedly discovered fraudulent invoices, said an Edmonton Police Service news release Tuesday, noting investigators dated the fraud from March 2011 to June 2016.
