Former Alberta man charged with murder after Abbotsford police killing

A man charged with murder after a veteran Abbotsford, B.C., police officer was shot dead Monday formerly lived Ashmont, Alta. 
Oscar Ferdinand Arfmann, 65, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the death of Const. John Davidson. 
Sister-in-law Linda Arfmann told Postmedia the family learned of Oscar Arfmann’s arrest through media coverage Tuesday morning.
