Following the money: Alberta's active political action committees

As the province inches towards an election, Albertans can expect to hear more from third-party advertisers, or political action committees (PACs).
These groups are required to register with Elections Alberta when they spend, or plan to spend, more than $1,000 on political advertising. There are 15 currently registered, but many of them haven’t declared any fundraising dollars this year.
