Five guns seized in search of St. Albert home, two men charged

Two men have been charged after RCMP seized five guns and other prohibited equipment from a St. Albert residence.
St. Albert RCMP executed a search warrant in a home on Sunset Boulevard Wednesday as a result of an extensive investigation into possible illegal firearm manufacturing.
Officers seized two derringer pistols, a MAC-10 machine pistol, an SKS-modified carbine and a STEN-submachine gun. They also found a silencer, two prohibited magazines, a taser and numerous rounds of ammunition.
