Five facts about Edmonton Pride ahead of today's parade

Before the floats start rolling down Whyte Avenue, here are some quick facts about the Edmonton Pride Festival, which is entering its 37th year.  
The Pride parade, the weeklong celebration’s premier event, begins at 11 a.m. today at 108 Street and Whyte Avenue. The parade wraps up with a celebration in Strathcona Park on 102nd Street. The festival runs June 9-18.
