Fire rescue blocked roads at downtown Edmonton tower

Police and fire crews worked to rescue a person who climbed a crane in downtown Edmonton Sunday night.
Fire spokesperson Maya Filipovic said crews were called to an under-construction residential tower at 103 Street and 103 Avenue around 6 p.m.
Responders closed roads and shined a spotlight on the crane as they prepared to undertake the rescue.
Five fire units responded including a technical rescue unit.
Just before 7:30 p.m., Filipovic said crews had searched the building and couldn’
