Fatal Edmonton police shooting sparked by attempt to arrest suspect

Edmonton police were attempting to arrest a suspect on outstanding warrants Saturday night when officers opened fire, leaving a man dead.
In a statement Sunday morning, police said officers tried to arrest the suspect near Westmount Mall, but he rammed a police cruiser with his vehicle attempting to flee the scene.
