Fans flock to Oilers Skills Competition

Edmonton Oilers players traded their game face for a happy face Saturday during the team’s Skills Competition at Roger’s Place.
During a boisterous afternoon of light-hearted competition, fan favourites including team captain Connor McDavid teamed with local minor league players to enjoy a range of drills and thrills. There were contests for hardest shot and fastest skater (McDavid won, obviously). Tickets were available for $12, turning the afternoon into a festival for families.
