Families prepare to testify at inquiry into murdered and missing Indigenous women
The loved ones of missing and murdered Indigenous women are slated to testify starting Tuesday as the national inquiry gets underway in Edmonton.
Chief commissioner Marion Buller and commissioner Brian Eyolfson will attend a three-day community hearing from Nov. 7 to Nov. 9, a news release said.
They will be listening to more than 40 family members and survivors who can testify publicly or in private as well as in sharing circles or through artistic expression panels.
