EPS bomb squad responding to report of explosive device in west end

Police are responding to a west end neighbourhood after a report of an explosive device discovered underneath a vehicle.
Edmonton Police Service spokeswoman Cheryl Voordenhout said officers responded to the call at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police have cordoned off the area of 97 Avenue and 159 Street in the Glenwood neighbourhood and have evacuated those living in the immediate area.
EPS bomb technicians are on scene.
