Edmonton's Alphonso Davies featured in Colin Kaepernick Nike ad

Local soccer phenom Alphonso Davis is featured in a new Nike ad featuring former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
“If you’re born a refugee, don’t let it stop you from playing soccer for the national team at age 16,” Kaepernick says in the ad, referencing Davies being added to Canada’s national men’s team in 2017.
In July, Davies was transferred from the Vancouver Whitecaps to FC Bayern Munich, one of the world’s elite soccer teams.
