Edmonton weather: How much chill could a wind chill chill if a wind chill could chill wind?

A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Thursday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station that measured -18.9 C with 14 km/h winds out of the east contributing to a -27 wind chill.
Watch out for that wind chill, it’s going to be particularly nasty today. The fine folks at Environment Canada are calling for wind chills of -26 today with a risk of a frostbite, and -28 wind chills overnight. So that’s splendid.
